SWTCH Integrates with HappyCo’s Plugin Marketplace to Streamline EV Charger Maintenance for Multifamily Properties

06/10/2025

SWTCH, a leading provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions for multifamily buildings, is pleased to announce a new integration with HappyCo, a premier property operations platform. The integration aims to enhance the efficiency of EV charger maintenance by automating support workflows and reducing administrative burdens for property management teams.

Through this integration, HappyCo work orders related to EV chargers will deliver instant notifications to the SWTCH support team. This will allow the team to more proactively address issues, minimize charger downtime, and ensure a seamless charging experience for residents.

“By integrating with HappyCo, we’re able to respond to maintenance issues more swiftly, reducing the need for property managers and maintenance staff to manually report problems,” said Rick Hardy-Cheam, Director of Strategy at SWTCH. “This not only enhances the reliability of our charging stations but also frees up valuable time for onsite teams.”

Property managers can easily activate this integration directly through the HappyCo portal, eliminating the need for back-and-forth emails and streamlining the setup process.

“SWTCH joining HappyCo’s Plugins Marketplace is what our open API ecosystem is all about  – connecting best-in-class solutions that maximize uptime for our customers,” said James Gaeta, Head of Integrations and Partnerships at HappyCo. “EV charging downtime can leave residents frustrated and renewals on the table. By enabling immediate issue resolution, we’re helping properties deliver that always-on convenience that modern residents demand.”

HappyCo’s platform is renowned for its ability to centralize maintenance operations, automate workflows, and improve resident satisfaction. By combining HappyCo’s robust property management tools with SWTCH’s advanced EV charging solutions, multifamily properties can now offer a more reliable and efficient charging experience to their residents.
