Profit from EV Charging: With up to $225k in Rebates from the Quebec Fast Charging Program
(French version available here)
Are you interested in installing EV chargers on your property? New rebates worth up to $225k per charger (80% of the total costs) would unlock an immediate source of recurring revenue for your business.
The Private Sector Support Program for the Deployment of Public Fast Charging Stations offers financial assistance to private companies for projects to purchase and install public Direct Current Fast Charging stations (DCFC).
The goals of this program is to increase the number of fast EV chargers across Quebec, improving access to quality charging stations and helping to drive down transportation emissions in the province.
The program is offered to for-profit businesses that are registered with the Quebec Business Registrar and which have an establishment in the province. It will allow the opportunity to significantly reduce installation and operational costs to prepare for the growing demand for EVs in Quebec.
Base Grant:
Up to 80% of the cost of DC Fast Chargers is covered, to a maximum of $225,000 per unit. Chargers eligible for the program must output at least 100kW.
Each site, which can host multiple chargers, will be eligible for a maximum of $2,500,000, and businesses installing chargers across multiple sites will be eligible for a maximum of $10,000,000 total.
SWTCH has worked with several clients to secure millions of dollars in incentive funding for EV projects across North America, and we can do the same for you.
The second call for projects is underway, and the deadline for submitting a proposal is June 21, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
